Mark Kleffner, associate dean and professor of earth sciences, has been selected as the School of Earth Sciences 2023 Distinguished Faculty Mentor for his work in mentoring the school's regional campus faculty. In the school's long-running faculty mentoring program, each assistant and associate professor has a pair of mentors who are full professors in the SES. The mentors meet regularly with their mentees, giving advice on duties and productivity. The mentors also evaluate teaching.
