Registration for the autumn session of the Lifelong Learning Institute at Ohio State Lima is now open. Classes will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10 a.m.-4:15 p.m., October 6, 8, 13, 15, 20, 22, 27 and 29 in the Student Services Center near the Mumaugh Road entrance. Each day hosts three classes.
The classes touch on a variety of topics of interest to attendees like health, culture and finances. This session also includes several that look at history as the United States celebrates its 250th birthday. Moderators come from Ohio State faculty and community organizations, including Lima Mayor Sharetta Smith, Ohio State Mansfield Dean Jason Opal, Lima News Editor David Trinko, the Chamber’s Josh Unterbrink, Apollo Career Center’s Keith Horner and more.
Cost is $40 whether students register for one or all courses. A description of autumn courses and a link to registration is available online at https://lima.osu.edu/outreach/lli. Registration is first-come, first-serve and closes September 30, 2026.
