Registration is now open for the 10th annual STEAM on the Quad at The Ohio State University at Lima. It is scheduled for Sunday, September 27, 2026, from 1-4 p.m. on the campus and is free and open to all.

STEAM on the Quad is a family-friendly event where kids in grades K-8 can do hands-on activities that will improve their knowledge and interest in the Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Humanities, and Math fields.

STEAM on the Quad is a collaboration between Ohio State Lima and the 4-H programs of Putnam, Hardin, Allen, Hancock, Lucas, Auglaize and Logan counties.

Over the past 10 years, the event has reached more than 2,100 people from Allen, Auglaize, Hardin, and surrounding counties. Attendance has grown consistently, with last year’s event drawing a record 500 guests.

To mark the 10-year milestone, this year’s event will feature several new groups, including the Columbus Zoo, the Armstrong Air and Space Museum, and Science Central. Imagination Station will conclude the afternoon with a live “Extreme Science” group demonstration at 3 p.m.

“While having great partners and activities line up is exciting, the heart of STEAM on the Quad has always been the young learners and their families who fill the grounds with curiosity,” said co-organizer Dr. Robin Bagley. “Seeing kids spark new passions alongside the adults in their lives is what makes this event so special, and we can’t wait to welcome everyone back to explore together this year.”
