The Department of Theatre, Film and Media Arts at The Ohio State University at Lima presents Villian: DeBlanks! at 7:30 p.m., October 23 and 24; and 2 p.m., October 25, in the Reed Hall Café.

A Time Out NY Critics’ Pick written by Billy Mitchell, Villain: DeBlanks  is an uproarious improvisational comedy where the cast says words you put in their mouths. The audience provides nouns, adjectives and verbs (the wilder, the better), and the actors provide the laughs — uncensored and unrehearsed — as they solve the mystery of Philip DeBlanks’ untimely demise. The tone of the evening is determined by the words our audiences contribute.

“This play is not for deep thoughts or deep feelings,” said director Margie Anich. “It’s for being goofy and playful and naughty (if you want to be) and helping us tell a story purely for laughs.”

Tickets are $5 at the door. Credit/debit cards only. Box Office opens one hour prior to start. Villian: DeBlanks! is not recommended for children.
