A map of Ohio sits behind fossils and minerals on shelves with QR codes next to them

The Ohio State Lima Geology Museum will open its first interactive exhibit from noon-2 p.m., Thursday, November 21, 2024, on the first floor of the Life and Physical Sciences Building.

“Western Ohio Minerals and Fossils Collected from Silurian Rocks” features specimens on loan from the Orton Geological Museum. QR codes throughout the exhibit will give visitors easy access to more information about the minerals and fossils on display.

All visitors to the grand opening will receive a western Ohio fossil to commemorate the exhibit.

The exhibit is open during business hours, Monday-Friday.
