Ohio State Lima can package a world-class education and an active student life with affordability. It’s a great deal, with in-state tuition at $7,553* for a full academic school year. As long as you are a full-time student taking 12+ hours your price will be $3,776.50/semester and will not be charged per hour after full-time status.

Lima is one of 4 regional campuses, in addition to the Columbus campus and the Agricultural Technical Institute at Wooster, that make up The Ohio State University. Nearly 60,950 students are enrolled at all six campuses, 1,100 of which are attending the Lima campus.

Located on the I-75 corridor in Ohio the campus is easily accessible from Cincinnati, Dayton, Toledo, Detroit, Fort Wayne, and only 90 min from Columbus.

It is a beautiful rural campus located right outside the city of Lima. There are many shopping, eating, and entertainment establishments close to campus.

Lima has a population of 38,000, which allows for industry and corporate internship opportunities in the city and surrounding area. For example, Ohio State Lima students have taken part in internships with the following corporations or agencies: Fox Television, Procter & Gamble, St. Rita’s Hospital, Lima/Allen County Chamber of Commerce, Allen County Fair Office, and Allen County Soil and Water.

Lima campus offers 12 bachelor degree programs and 4 completion programs. Or, you can start at Lima and finish your degree at the Columbus campus with one of Ohio State’s 200+ majors. Ohio State is a research institution, which means faculty members are not only teaching, but doing cutting edge research in their fields of study. Here at Lima 10 faculty members have won the University’s prestigious Alumni Award for Distinguished Teaching. Only 10 awards are given annually to the 4,000 professors in the entire Ohio State University system. This means that, as an undergraduate student, you will be learning from professors who are at the forefront in their academic fields. Our professors are writing the books that others will one day be teaching from. This also means that as an undergraduate student you will have the opportunity to be involved in research regardless of your major, which allows for the opportunity to build your resume for the job market or graduate school.

The average class size on the Lima campus is 18, which allows for a personalized classroom experience. Faculty members want to know their students and strive to create a welcoming environment.
