STEM Steps 2026

The Ohio State University at Lima invites area high schools to the 12th annual STEM Steps, an enriching and exciting day filled with hands-on activities in various STEM fields to encourage and stimulate an interest in science. The event empowers young students to achieve success in STEM fields by instilling self-confidence and a can-do attitude.

Keynote speaker: Melissa Renner
Melissa Renner grew up in Cincinnati, OH. She graduated from Purdue University with a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering in 2008. From there, she started her career at Procter and Gamble, where she has been for the last 17 years, leading teams and working on initiatives for many Fabric Care brands and products you know and love, such as Tide and Gain Liquid detergents, Tide Pods, and Downy Unstopables. Melissa has 3 kids (ages 9, 7, and 4) and a husband who also works for P&G.
