STEAM on the Quad brings hands-on learning to community Sept. 28

STEAM on the Quad returns to The Ohio State University at Lima for its fourth year of family fun and learning from 10 a.m.-2 p.m., Sat., Sept. 28, 2019. More than 400 participants and 100 volunteers are expected to attend.

STEAM on the Quad is a free, family-friendly event for kids in grades K-8 to improve their knowledge and interest in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Humanities, and Math through hands-on activity. More than 50 activities will be hosted by the 4-H programs of Putnam, Hardin, Allen, Hancock, Lucas, Auglaize and Logan counties; the Ohio State Lima departments of education, engineering, biology, mathematics, earth sciences and theatre; and a variety of student clubs, community businesses and organizations.

Registration is onsite at the Perry Webb Student Life Building. STEAM on the Quad is free and open to the public.

STEAM on the Quad is a collaboration between Ohio State Lima and the OSU Extension offices in the surrounding areas with support from the Patricia Kunz Brundige Youth Development Fund for Positive Youth Development Research.
