The Office of Student Engagement, located in Galvin Hall Lower-level reception desk and 014, works to provide fun, engaging, on-campus activities for students. The Student Engagement Office is also the office where students can register new clubs, find out what clubs are already on campus, and find out what events happening or are coming up.

Questions about Activities
Where can I find a current calendar of campus activities?
There is an updated calendar here.
I'd like to become involved, but I'm a full-time student and I work full-time. How will I find the time?
Many students have hectic schedules similar to yours. Most clubs will try to schedule meeting times that are convenient for its members and only require a few hours commitment each week.
I live over twenty miles from campus. Are all of the events in the evenings?
Events are held during the day and in the evening to accommodate students who attend both day and evening classes.
How open is Student Engagement to ideas for new clubs and special interest groups? Would we need to register?
The Student Engagement Office welcomes ideas for new opportunities that would be of interest to students. All campus groups must register with the Student Engagement Office. There is a standard registration form to fill out and a faculty/staff member of Ohio State Lima must be designated as group advisor. Stop by the Student Engagement Office in Galvin 014 and speak to the Student Engagement Coordinator for more information on forming a new club.
The Ohio State University at Lima affirms the right of each student to be free from discrimination on the basis of race, color, national origin, age, or handicap. All registered organizations must abide by these non-discrimination policies.
