Jeschonnek secures National Science Foundation grant
The National Science Foundation has funded the proposal of Dr. Sabine Jeschonnek titled “Electron Scattering and Neutrino Scattering from Light Nuclei.” The grant period began Sept. 1, 2019, and has an anticipated three-year duration. The $120,000 grant will fund summer study and some travel for Jeschonnek and students who may want to be involved in the research. While Jeschonnek had previously been funded through a group NSF grant with colleagues from Columbus, the new grant is a single PI, or principal investigator, classification.
Jeschonnek is a professor of physics at Ohio State Lima.
