Ohio Internship and Co-op Appreciation Day celebrates and raises awareness of internship and co-op opportunities in Ohio and helps promote the creation of more internship and co-op programs at businesses throughout the state. This day will help grow the internship culture in addition to strengthening Ohio’s workforce. Ohio State Lima will recognize this by promoting internship opportunities to students and raffling off prizes. Students will be entered into the drawing by reporting details of their internship to Career Development via e-mail, or by logging into the campus job board, Handshake, with Career Development during Intern Appreciation days. This month-long celebration is designed to raise awareness regarding the benefits of internships, and create a culture where students are encouraged to obtain work related experience while in college.
