iScribeMD provides an entry-level medical career for those looking for a job in the medical field, especially those who may be seeking an advanced medical degree. They have openings at both Joint Township District Memorial Hospital in St. Marys and Lima Memorial Hospital in Lima. Salary starts at $11.50 per hour.

About this event

Hog Creek Hardin and ArtSpace/Lima will hold Poetry in the Alley in celebration of Hog Creek Hardin's autumn issue. The event brings together  Lima's poets and creative voices for poetry reading, featured speakers and open mic. 

The event is free and open to the public. Poetry in the Alley will be held in Sugar Alley behind ArtSpace/Lima, 65 Town Square. 

 Hog Creek Hardin is Ohio State Lima's undergraduate literary journal.

The OTDI Enterprise Security Team will be holding a one hour security awareness presentation for the campus on Monday, November 6, 2023, from 12:40- 1:35 p.m. The event will be a hybrid event offering both in person and virtual attendance options and attending this presentation will fulfill your annual requirement for Cybersecurity Awareness training.

The benefits you will receive from joining us for this presentation will be learning how to be a better digital citizen, how to protect student and institutional data, and help prevent ransomware and other attacks on our institutions. You will learn how to keep safe not only in the workplace but in your personal life too. As you have likely seen in the news this year, ransomware attacks can impact anyone. It is more important than ever to know how to protect yourself and your workplace in the digital world.

The annual Career Week is taking place September 11–15, 2023. Students across all majors, campuses and degree levels are welcome to join for a week of career development and networking. 

And don’t miss this year’s Lima Campus Mini Internship Fair, happening on Wednesday, September 13, from 10 a.m.-12 noon (Lima's Science Building lobby), the Fall Career and Internship Fair, happening in-person on Wednesday, September 13, from 1–5 p.m. (Ohio Union on Columbus campus), and virtually on Thursday, September 14, from 2–6 p.m. (via Handshake).

About this event

The Lima Campus Mini Internship Fair is an opportunity for students to discover some of the local internship opportunities currently available. Students from all majors are encouraged to attend in order to become more informed about internship and other experiential learning opportunities. This is a great forum for students to meet career services staff and employers in a comfortable, inviting atmosphere. 

No special attire is required, and all students are welcome to stop by to learn more about internships. As additional incentives for student participation, we will conduct raffles and give away door prizes throughout the event. 

The Lima Campus Mini Internship Fair is coordinated by the Ohio State Lima Office of Career Development and the Rhodes State College Offices of Career Development and Internships and Experiential Learning.
