Physics 1200 (Autumn Semester)
Algebra-based introductory physics course, part 1. Lecture, recitation, and lab.
What you need for this course: solid working knowledge of algebra and basic trigonometry
Pre-requisite: A grade of C- or above in Math 1148
Topics: mechanics, oscillations, fluids

Physics 1201 (Spring Semester)
Algebra-based introductory physics course, part 2. Lecture, recitation, and lab.
What you need for this course: solid working knowledge of algebra and basic trigonometry, and the material from Physics 1200
Pre-requisite: Physics 1200 (highly recommended: grade of C or above)
Topics: Electricity & Magnetism, Optics, Waves, Modern Physics

Physics 1250 (Autumn Semester)
Calculus-based introductory physics course, part 1. Lecture, recitation, and lab.
What you need for this course: solid working knowledge of algebra and trigonometry; you will learn and apply calculus during the semester
Co-requisite: Math 1151 or above
Topics: mechanics, fluids, thermodynamics

Physics 1251 (Spring Semester)
Calculus-based introductory physics course, part 2. Lecture, recitation, and lab.
What you need for this course: solid working knowledge of algebra, trigonometry, and calculus
Pre-requisite: Physics 1251 and Math 1151 (highly recommended for both: grade of C or above)
Co-requisite: Math 1152 or Math 1172
Topics: Electricity & Magnetism, Waves, Optics, Modern Physics

Physics 1106 (every other year, most likely in Autumn Semester)
Inquiry-based class (no lectures!) on topics from mechanics and thermodynamics. Intended for education majors and other non-science major students.
