Want to be a Buckeye BEFORE you graduate high school? Join us for an annual informational session covering the state of Ohio's College Credit Plus Program at Ohio State Lima! 

College Credit Plus, or CCP, is the state's dual enrollment program in which students can earn college and high school credits at the same time. The program comes at no cost to public school students and may come at limited cost to non-public and home-schooled students. At this event, you will be given a detailed information session on what College Credit Plus is, why it may be beneficial to enroll in the program, and how public, non-public, and home-schooled students can take Ohio State courses through CCP on our Lima campus.

About this event

Every year, books are challenged or banned in school and public libraries across the United States. Many of the most challenged books are written by BIPOC authors, and authors who identify as LGBTQIA+. Librarians are champions against censorship, and work to ensure that everyone who comes into a library has the freedom to read whatever they want. The Diversity Committee invites you to join Zach Walton for a discussion on banned books, highlighting Black authors and the freedom to read.

About this event

We invite high school freshman, sophomores, juniors and seniors to join Ohio State Lima and Rhodes State College for a collaborative event held with the Mental Health and Recovery Services Board of Allen, Auglaize and Hardin Counties.

Students who attend will learn about the behavioral health field, tour local behavioral health agencies, and discover how degrees from Ohio State Lima and Rhodes State College can lead to future career opportunities in the behavioral health field. Students will also be able to tour our co-located campus and start down a pathway to a future in behavioral health in west central Ohio.

This is a FREE event with a pizza lunch provided on campus.

Register by Wednesday, January 17, using the link above. Space is limited to the 120 students on a first-come, first-served basis.
