Gambling Screening

Date
March 11, 2026
Time
12:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.

About this event

March is problem gambling awareness month, and the Volunteer Club is hosting a gambling screening for students, faculty and staff in the Galvin Hall Lobby. The Emerging Adult Gambling Screen, or EAGS-4, is specifically designed for individuals aged 18-24 and identifies potential gambling-related harms. Participants will be able to complete the screening via either a QR code or paper form. If the screening brings up a concern, you will be connected to further resources. The Zeph Center from Toledo will be administering the screenings as part of its Ohio Problem Gambling Excellence and Innovation Grant.

About this event

Join Lima Counseling and Consultation Service for the annual Out of the Darkness Campus Walk supporting the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. This campus event raises awareness and funds for suicide prevention efforts.

Walk as part of Team Lima or form your own team (with "Lima" in the name). Fundraising is appreciated, but not a requirement to participate in the event. Dinner will be provided for all participants as we attend a watch party, connecting us with all other Ohio State campuses holding the same event simultaneously; participate in activities of hope and healing; and visit with local community organizations about their services to support this important area of mental health.
