About this event

Volunteers from the Deaf Community help hearing people understand what it is like for them to communicate in the hearing world. Deaf Town is a voices-off event, where hearing people are able to go to different stations and must communicate in sign language. There are cheat sheets to help the signing challenged with their communication tasks. They are able to go to a grocery store, clothing store, doctor's office, and travel agency without speaking a word. It is an amazing experience for all!
