The Community & Connection Committee hosts Keaton Greeley, an Elida High School graduate, who shares his path as mascot Brutus Buckeye while pursuing a degree in Chemical Engineering on the Columbus campus. Keaton will visit the Lima campus to reflect on the value of regional opportunity and remind students that talent from Lima and surrounding communities belongs everywhere, including here in our community.

Join us for our next On-Campus Scarlet Session as we kick off the first session for spring semester. 

Pat Carroll, professor of psychology, will first discuss his work on how and when people abandon or embrace dreams (possible selves) in response to social feedback. Then, we will transition to review more recent work on the consequences of those changes in possible selves for broader changes in self-doubt, self-esteem, and well-being.

Be a part of THE for FREE today! Join us at The Scoop on Main in Ottawa, OH for our Application Fee Waiver event on December 17th, 2025 from 3 pm - 5 pm and enjoy a free coffee or ice cream on us! Parking is available next to the building. This event is drop-in style, so we recommend that students arrive no later than 4:30 pm. This will ensure that you have ample time to fill out your application and learn about next steps. Students will receive an application fee waiver to apply for the Autumn 2026 semester and be supported through the application process by enrollment services staff. Leave the event with an application submitted and an exciting giveaway!
